We sourced a 100% combed cotton yarn that is organically grown by independent farmers working in rural India under the tutelage of a Swiss enterprise that guarantees the farmers not only a market for their bounty, but a premium price that helps pay for structural, educational and vocational improvements to their communities. The yarn is shipped to Europe where it is dyed to strict EU ecological standards. The quality and softness speak for themselves.
We use wool for many of our garments and source it from a variety of mills. A mill we started working with for 2015 is the Imperial Stock Ranch, based in Maupin Oregon. Once a year, they harvest the soft, white wool from the sheep and begin the process of transforming this naturally renewable resource into a wide selection of fibers and yarns. All of their wool is specially milled without harsh chemicals or extreme temperatures, leaving it comfortable, soft and pure.

Alpaca is a soft, silky, and durable fiber with unique thermal properties due to microscopic air bubbles found inside the hair. These bubbles allow the user to "breathe" through the fibers on hot days and in much the same way, to retain body heat in cold temperatures. Alpaca fiber is know to be low impact on the environment. Additionally one of our mills, Inca Tops, has been awarded the Oeko-Tex certificate for commitment to the natural environment.
